Integrand Software, Inc. joins Cadence Connections Program

March 10, 2005, Berkeley Heights, NJ -- Integrand Software, Inc. announced that it has joined the Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Connections® program and will be integrating its EMX® technology into the Cadence simulation, and verification environments. By attracting best-in-class members, the Cadence Connections program offers the industry's largest collection of third-party solutions operating fully with the Cadence suite of design tools. Integrand Software's integration with Cadence's platforms, enabled through membership in Connections, will make available to mutual customers the time and cost advantages of using EMX for integrated circuit (IC) design.

The mutual interface will be called EMX-Virtuoso(TM). The EMX-Virtuoso flow complements the Virtuoso® Analog Design Environment, Virtuoso Layout Editor, and Spectre® simulator. EMX provides the accuracy and speed required in doing a full-wave Electromagnetic Analysis (EM) solution on a selected part of the chip. EMX-Virtuoso provides a powerful combination, resulting in an end-to-end design optimization loop. EMX-Virtuoso enables block-level RF and high-speed design for subcircuits ranging from simple passive components to filters. The user interface is seamlessly integrated into the Virtuoso design flow.

The Cadence Connections program promotes open interoperability in all areas of electronic design, including digital, custom IC, analog/mixed-signal, and PCB design. The Connections program has over 120 member companies working toward developing an optimized silicon design chain for customers. Information about the Connections program may be found at http://www.connectionsprogram.com.

Integrand Software, Inc. provides electronic design automation (EDA) software for high frequency, RF and Mixed Signal integrated circuits (ICs). Integrand's customers include foundries, semiconductor design houses, and individual designers. Integrand is creating unique tools for the analysis and synthesis of IC and package designs. Integrand's patent-pending technologies allow designers to accurately and efficiently simulate the behavior of passive components and interconnect. These capabilities shorten design cycles and let companies design substantially better products with less risk. For more information about Integrand, visit http://www.integrandsoftware.com.
